to ensure that your belongings are packed and transported safely. Our boxes and wrapping materials are built to last and protect your items. We separate your items into different categories, such as furniture, clothing and electricals.
Furniture will be put into boxes of the right size, or protective covers if they are too large. All furniture will be dismantled and reassembled for you. This will allow for better transportation and easier handling.
Clothes will be put into wardrobe cartons. This means they can remain hanging on the rail through transit. This is so you don’t have to fold all of your clothes into boxes and unpack them. Electrical items will be wrapped placed into boxes of the right size with padding or put back into their original packaging. All of your other belongings such as ornaments, books, etc. will be packed into boxes.
An unpacking service can also be provided. This can be useful if you again do not have the time or do not want to deal with the hassle of unpacking. This happens after our team unload all of your belongings into your house. Then, you can show us where you would like everything placing.
Packing services prices will vary
Depending on the size of your house and how much needs to be packed. For example, a three-bedroom house will require more packing than a one-bedroom flat. We will be able to give you a rough estimate of our pricing, however one of our team will have to come and take a survey of your house to give you a more concrete number.
When they arrive, they will create a list or an inventory of all the items you would like packed or need the packing materials for. Next, they will discuss with you your more valuable items, such as jewellery and fine art etc. and see how you would like to transport these on the day. Mentioned below, you can carry some items with you in your vehicle if you would like to, if they are important to you and you would like to oversee their movement yourself.
